Rather than a traditional lecture, Wakefield’s Professional Interactive Poetic Presentation (PiPP) invites participants to ask questions, exchange ideas, and explore the many ways poetry can inspire, challenge, heal, and connect us. Drawing on nearly 30 years of experience as a professional poet, educator, and mentor, Wakefield will share insights into the craft of poetry, creative expression, performance, and the many places poetry can exist in our lives and communities.
