Page2Stage is an interactive poetry experience built around conversation rather than a traditional lecture. Wakefield invites participants to ask questions, share ideas and explore poetry from different angles – from finding inspiration and developing your writing to performance, storytelling and the ways poetry can connect us to one another.

Drawing on nearly 30 years as a professional poet, performer, educator and mentor, Wakefield creates an engaging and welcoming space for people to explore poetry together.

Art in the Park is back for Alberta Culture Days!

You don’t need to consider yourself a poet to take part. Come with questions, curiosity, something you’ve been working on, or simply an interest in words and storytelling.

This free event is part of Art in the Park, presented by Elephant Artist Relief Society (EAR) as part of Alberta Culture Days, with support from the Government of Alberta.
